About IGOEE Prep
IGOEE Prep helps internationally graduated optometrists prepare for the IGOEE with original, case-based practice built around Canadian standards.
Why we built it
Internationally trained optometrists often know their clinical work well but meet the IGOEE's format, Canadian guidelines and Ontario's prescribing rules for the first time. Good preparation material was scattered, expensive or built on recalled questions. We wanted a single place to practise honestly, at exam pace, in the exam's own style.
How we write questions
- Original only. Every item is written from scratch. We never use recalled exam content or material from commercial question banks or textbooks.
- Grounded in public standards. Ontario's O. Reg. 112/11 for prescribing scope; Canadian and international guidelines (such as Diabetes Canada, CAO, AAO and PEDIG) for clinical care. New questions name the standard they follow.
- Every option explained, so you learn from the distractors as much as from the answer.
- Reviewed and updated. We correct errors as soon as they're reported and re-check content when guidelines change.
Independence
IGOEE Prep is independent. It isn't affiliated with or endorsed by Touchstone Institute, FORAC, the College of Optometrists of Ontario, OEBC, Mercer | Mettl or the University of Waterloo. Exam details are summarized from their public pages; always confirm with the official sources.
